Ooblets Install the New for Windows

The Ooblets team has been busy working on a new update, specifically designed for Windows users. In this article, we'll dive into what's new and exciting in the latest version of Ooblets.

First off, Microsoft Defender Antivirus is now available as an optional service. If you're having trouble re-enabling it, don't worry - just check out our guide on reinstalling/ enabling Microsoft Defender Antivirus on your endpoints for help.

In other news, we've been teasing some exciting new content from the upcoming Port Forward update on Twitter. If you missed it, be sure to catch up and get a sneak peek at what's in store. For those of you using Windows older than 2019 or Server 2019, take note that the service used to be called Windows Defender Antivirus.

We're also working to squash some long-standing issues with Ooblets, including broken dance moves, Nullwhere problems, and widescreen support. And, as a special treat for players who've been with us for a while, we have at least one new system that's sure to delight.

Of course, the Port Forward update is still planned for mid-year, but before that, we're releasing an interim update packed with bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. We didn't want to hold back on these goodies until all the Port Forward content was ready, so we're giving you a taste of what's to come.

We've also had to adjust our plans slightly due to some unexpected changes in our development pace. Our team leader has been taking time off to welcome his new baby, and we've recently expanded our ranks with Rich, an incredible programmer and artist. With the addition of Rich, we're more excited than ever about what's in store for Ooblets this year.
